How to download and set up OMNE in Montenegro

Download OMNE in Montenegro: Android and iOS setup

OMNE is available in Montenegro on both Google Play for Android and the App Store for iOS. This guide covers the setup steps, what to check before you install, how to fix the three most common problems, and which settings to change on your first day. It also covers pricing in EUR, a comparison with swipe-only apps, and practical first-date advice for the capital.

Before you install

• Android 7.0 or newer, or iOS 13 or newer.
• About 200 MB of free storage.
• A working phone number or email address for verification.
• A payment method only if you plan to upgrade: major cards and app store billing.

Check your operating system version in your phone settings before you start. If your device is older than the minimums above, the store will not offer the app, and no amount of cache clearing will change that.

Install steps

• Open Google Play or the App Store and search for OMNE (package: com.omne5.app).
• Check that the developer name matches the listing before installing.
• Install, open the app, and allow notifications only if you want message alerts.
• Sign up with your phone number or email, then complete verification.
• Add at least three photos and a two-line bio. Profiles with three photos get materially more matches.

Set your store country to Montenegro before searching. A store account registered in another region may not show the app at all.

Prices in Montenegro

The app is free to download and free to message. Optional upgrades are displayed in EUR and billed through major cards and app store billing. Subscriptions can be cancelled from your store account; cancelling inside the app is not required. If you cancel, keep the confirmation email from your store as proof of the cancellation date.

Three common problems

Cannot find the app in the store. Update your store app, clear its cache, and search by the package name com.omne5.app. If your device was purchased in another region, the store account region must match Montenegro.

Verification code not arriving. Wait 60 seconds, check your spam folder, then request the code again. Repeated requests can trigger a temporary limit, so space them out.

Payment declined. Confirm the card allows international or digital subscriptions, and that the store account region matches your card's country. A card issued in one country with a store account in another is a frequent cause of declines.

Privacy settings worth changing on day one

• Turn off "show distance" if you live in a small area.
• Restrict who can message you first.
• Disable photo downloads where available.
• Review the data section: under local data protection regulation in Montenegro, you can request access to or deletion of your data.

How OMNE compares with swipe-only apps in Montenegro

Swipe-only apps optimise for time in the app. OMNE optimises for a first conversation: messaging is free, voice and video calls happen inside the app, and profiles are reviewed for scam and nudity patterns. In practice that means fewer matches that go nowhere, and more matches that turn into a plan in the capital.

A checklist before you start

• Set your distance filter to a range you can actually travel in Montenegro.
• Write a bio that names one place and one activity; it gives people something to answer.
• Decide your intent (casual dating, relationship, friendship) and state it plainly.
• Turn on two-factor authentication if offered, and use a unique password.
• Plan the first meeting in public, in daylight where possible.

What dating costs in Montenegro

Expect the cost of two coffees or a simple meal, paid in EUR. Apps themselves are free to use; any upgrade is optional and priced in EUR through major cards and app store billing. Never let a stranger pressure you into splitting a large bill on a first meeting.

Getting to a first date in the capital

Choose a place you already know: a cafe you can describe, a park with a clear meeting point, or a bar that is busy but not loud. In the capital, the safest first dates are short: 60 to 90 minutes, daytime or early evening, with an easy exit. Send a friend the location and the time before you go.

Bottom line

Dating in Montenegro rewards specificity and timing more than perfect photos. Use the app to start real conversations, move to a plan within a week, and keep safety rules non-negotiable. That combination works in the capital, and it works everywhere else.
