How to download and set up OMNE in Ukraine

Download OMNE in Ukraine: Android and iOS setup

OMNE is available in Ukraine on both Google Play for Android and the App Store for iOS. This guide covers the actual setup steps, what to check before you install, how prices work in UAH, and how to fix the three problems people hit most often. It also covers the settings worth changing on day one and a short checklist for getting to a first date.

Before you install

Check these four things first so the install does not stall halfway through:

• Android 7.0 or newer, or iOS 13 or newer.
• About 200 MB of free storage.
• A working phone number or email for verification.
• A payment method only if you plan to upgrade: major cards and app store billing.

Install steps

• Open Google Play or the App Store and search for OMNE (package: com.omne5.app).
• Check the developer name matches the listing before installing.
• Install, open, and allow notifications only if you want message alerts.
• Sign up with phone or email, then verify.
• Add at least three photos and a two-line bio. Profiles with three photos get materially more matches.

Prices in Ukraine

The app is free to download and free to message. Optional upgrades are displayed in UAH and billed through major cards and app store billing. Subscriptions can be cancelled from your store account; cancelling inside the app is not required. If you cancel, keep the confirmation email from your store, because that is the record that matters if a charge is disputed.

Three common problems

Cannot find the app in the store. Update your store app, clear its cache, and search the package name. If your device was purchased in another region, the store account region must match Ukraine.

Verification code not arriving. Wait 60 seconds, check spam, then request again. Repeated requests can trigger a temporary limit, so space out retries rather than tapping the button repeatedly.

Payment declined. Confirm the card allows international or digital subscriptions, and that the store account region matches your card's country.

Privacy settings worth changing on day one

• Turn off "show distance" if you live in a small area.
• Restrict who can message you first.
• Disable photo downloads where available.
• Review the data section: under local data protection regulation in Ukraine, you can request access or deletion.

How OMNE compares with swipe-only apps in Ukraine

Swipe-only apps optimise for time in app. OMNE optimises for a first conversation: messaging is free, voice and video calls happen inside the app, and profiles are reviewed for scam and nudity patterns. In practice that means fewer matches that go nowhere, and more matches that turn into a plan in the capital.

A checklist before you start

• Set your distance filter to a range you can actually travel in Ukraine.
• Write a bio that names one place and one activity; it gives people something to answer.
• Decide your intent (casual dating, relationship, friendship) and say it plainly.
• Turn on two-factor authentication if offered, and use a unique password.
• Plan the first meeting in public, in daylight where possible.

Reply speed and time zones

People in Ukraine tend to answer around evening local time. If you are messaging across time zones, send when it is evening for them, not for you. The same message gets a very different response rate depending on when it lands.

Getting to a first date in the capital

Choose a place you already know: a cafe you can describe, a park with a clear meeting point, a bar that is busy but not loud. In the capital the safest first dates are short, 60 to 90 minutes, daytime or early evening, with an easy exit. Suggesting a specific place and time in your first few messages moves a conversation forward faster than a long chat that never names a day.

Bottom line

Dating in Ukraine rewards specificity and timing more than perfect photos. Use the app to start real conversations, move to a plan within a week, and keep safety rules non-negotiable. That combination works in the capital, and it works everywhere else.
