OMNE Coins and VIP Explained for Eritrea
If you are using OMNE (also known as omne5) in Eritrea, you may have noticed two optional paid features: coins and VIP. This guide explains what each one does, what remains free, how purchases go through Google Play, and how to cancel. We describe the structure only — no prices are listed here, because prices can vary by region and change over time. Always check the Google Play checkout screen for the exact amount before you confirm any purchase.
What are OMNE coins?
Coins are a virtual currency inside OMNE. You buy them through Google Play, and they are stored in your OMNE account. Coins are used for small, one-off actions that go beyond the free daily limits. Think of them as a way to unlock extra interactions when you want them, without committing to a subscription.
Typical uses for coins include:
- Sending extra messages or likes after you have used your free daily allowance.
- Boosting your profile for a short period so more people see you.
- Unlocking certain profile details or filters for a single use.
Coins are consumed when you use them. They do not renew automatically, and they do not expire on a fixed date unless stated in the app. You can buy more coins whenever you choose.
What does OMNE VIP add?
VIP is a subscription that bundles premium features for a set period (for example, one month). Unlike coins, VIP renews automatically through Google Play unless you cancel before the renewal date. VIP is designed for people who use OMNE regularly and want a smoother, more visible experience.
VIP typically adds:
- More daily likes or messages compared to the free tier.
- Access to advanced filters or search preferences.
- Profile visibility boosts or priority placement in discovery.
- Insights such as who viewed your profile or liked you (where available).
- An ad-free or reduced-ad experience.
The exact VIP benefits are listed inside the OMNE app under the VIP section. Features may be updated over time, so check the app for the current list.
What stays free on OMNE
OMNE is free to download and use. You do not need to buy coins or VIP to create a profile, browse, or match with people. The free tier includes:
- Creating and editing your profile.
- Browsing profiles and receiving matches.
- A daily allowance of likes and messages.
- Basic search and discovery.
Coins and VIP simply remove some limits or add extra visibility. You can enjoy OMNE without spending anything.
How OMNE works in Eritrea
OMNE (omne5) is available in Eritrea through Google Play. You can download the app, sign up, and start meeting people. The app is designed to work with local mobile data and Wi-Fi. Purchases are handled by Google Play, so you will need a Google account with a supported payment method. If you are in Eritrea and Google Play billing is not available for your account, you may not be able to buy coins or VIP — but the free features still work.
Because OMNE is built for a global audience, you may see profiles from other countries. You can use filters to focus on your region. Always follow local laws and community guidelines when interacting with others.
How purchases work through Google Play
All coin and VIP purchases on OMNE go through Google Play's billing system. This means Google handles the payment, not OMNE directly. Here is the typical flow:
- Open the OMNE app and go to the coins or VIP section.
- Choose the coin pack or VIP plan you want.
- Review the Google Play checkout screen — it shows the exact price in your local currency.
- Confirm the purchase with your Google account payment method.
- Coins are added to your balance, or VIP is activated immediately.
You will receive a receipt from Google Play by email. Keep it for your records. If a purchase does not appear in the app, check your Google Play purchase history and contact Google Play support first.
How to cancel OMNE VIP
Because VIP is a Google Play subscription, you cancel it through Google Play, not inside OMNE. Here is how:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions and find OMNE (omne5).
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
You can also manage subscriptions through the Google Play website. After cancelling, you keep VIP benefits until the end of the current billing period. Coins are not refundable and are not affected by cancelling VIP.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults who want a straightforward dating app with optional extras. It suits people who prefer a free experience but like the flexibility of buying coins for occasional boosts, or VIP for a more active social life. It is not a guarantee of matches or relationships — results depend on your profile, preferences, and how you interact. If you are under 18, OMNE is not for you.
Managing your spending
Set a budget before buying coins or VIP. Use Google Play's password or biometric confirmation for purchases to avoid accidental spending. Review your subscriptions regularly. If you no longer need VIP, cancel before the renewal date.
Ready to try it? Download OMNE free on Google Play and explore the free features first. You can always add coins or VIP later if you find them useful.
