OMNE Coins and VIP Explained for Kuwait
If you are using OMNE in Kuwait, you have probably noticed two paid elements: coins and VIP. This guide explains what each one does, what remains free, and how purchases and cancellations work through Google Play. The goal is to help you decide whether coins or VIP are worth it for you, without any pressure.
What are OMNE coins?
Coins are OMNE's in-app currency. You use them to access certain optional features that are not part of the free experience. Think of them as a way to pay for specific actions when you need them, rather than committing to a subscription. Coins are purchased through Google Play and stored in your OMNE account.
Coins can be used for things like:
- Boosting your profile for a set period to get more visibility.
- Sending virtual gifts to other members.
- Unlocking extra features or content that are not included in the free version.
The exact coin packages and the number of coins required for each action are shown inside the app. OMNE does not list prices here because they may vary by region and over time. You will always see the current price in Google Play before you confirm any purchase.
What does VIP add?
VIP is a subscription that unlocks a set of premium features for as long as it is active. It is designed for members who want more from the app on an ongoing basis. VIP typically includes:
- Ad-free browsing (if ads are present in the free version).
- More visibility, such as priority placement in discovery.
- Additional filters or search options.
- Access to exclusive virtual gifts or profile customizations.
- Possibly a monthly allotment of coins, depending on the current offer.
VIP is billed on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or quarterly) through Google Play. The exact duration and price are shown before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time, and you will retain VIP access until the end of the current billing period.
What stays free on OMNE
OMNE is free to download and use for core features. You do not need to buy coins or VIP to create a profile, browse members, or start conversations. The free version includes:
- Creating your profile and adding photos.
- Browsing and discovering other members.
- Sending and receiving messages (subject to daily limits, if any).
- Basic search and matching features.
Some features may have usage limits in the free version, and coins or VIP can remove those limits or add extras. OMNE aims to keep the core experience useful without requiring payment.
How purchases work through Google Play
All purchases on OMNE for Android are processed by Google Play. This means:
- You pay using the payment method linked to your Google account.
- Google Play handles the transaction securely; OMNE does not store your card details.
- You receive a receipt by email from Google Play.
- Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
To buy coins or subscribe to VIP, open the OMNE app (package com.omne5.app), go to the coins or VIP section, and follow the prompts. You will see the Google Play purchase screen with the price and terms. Confirm only if you agree.
How to cancel VIP
VIP is managed through Google Play, not directly inside OMNE. To cancel:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon and go to Payments & subscriptions.
- Select Subscriptions and find OMNE (or omne5) in the list.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.
You can also manage subscriptions via the Google Play website. After cancelling, you will still have VIP access until the end of the period you have already paid for. OMNE does not charge you after cancellation.
