OMNE Coins and VIP Explained for Mauritania
If you are using OMNE in Mauritania, you may have seen references to coins and VIP. This guide explains the structure of both, what they are for, what remains free, and how purchases and cancellations work through Google Play. It does not list prices because prices can change and may vary by region and store. Always check the current price inside the app before you buy.
How OMNE works
OMNE is a dating and social discovery app. In Mauritania, as elsewhere, you can create a profile, browse people, and start conversations. The app uses a freemium model: a set of core features is available without paying, and optional extras are available through coins or a VIP subscription. Coins are a virtual currency used inside OMNE for specific actions. VIP is a subscription that adds convenience and visibility features for a period of time. Neither is required to use the app, and neither guarantees matches or replies.
The app is published as omne5 on Google Play. All paid features are processed by Google Play, which means your payment method is managed by Google, not directly by OMNE. This is important for both buying and cancelling.
What coins are for
Coins are a flexible way to access certain features without committing to a subscription. The exact menu can change, but the structure is consistent: you spend coins on individual actions or small boosts. Typical uses include:
- Unlocking extra visibility for your profile for a limited time.
- Sending additional messages or interactions beyond the free daily allowance, where such limits apply.
- Accessing certain profile insights or filters that are not part of the free tier.
- Testing a feature once before deciding whether a subscription is worth it.
Coins are consumed when you use them. They do not renew automatically, and they are not a subscription. You buy a pack through Google Play, and the coins are added to your OMNE account. If you do not use them, they remain in your balance unless the app states otherwise.
What VIP adds
VIP is a subscription that bundles several advantages into one recurring plan. The exact feature set can evolve, but VIP is designed to add convenience and visibility. Common elements include:
- More visibility for your profile, such as appearing more often in discovery.
- Additional filters or search options to narrow down who you see.
- Extras around messaging or interaction limits, depending on the current plan.
- A VIP badge or status indicator on your profile.
VIP does not guarantee matches, replies, or any specific outcome. It is a set of tools and visibility perks. The subscription renews automatically through Google Play unless you cancel before the renewal date.
What stays free
You do not need coins or VIP to use OMNE. The free tier includes the essentials for meeting people:
- Creating and editing your profile.
- Browsing and discovering other members.
- Sending and receiving messages within the free limits.
- Basic safety and reporting tools.
Free limits may apply to certain actions, such as the number of messages or likes per day. These limits are there to keep the experience balanced. Coins or VIP can expand some of these limits, but the core experience remains available without payment.
How purchases work through Google Play
All purchases in OMNE are handled by Google Play. When you tap to buy coins or start a VIP subscription, Google Play shows the current price in your local currency and asks you to confirm with your Google account payment method. OMNE does not receive or store your card details.
- Open OMNE and go to the coins or VIP section.
- Choose the coin pack or VIP plan you want.
- Review the price and billing period shown by Google Play.
- Confirm the purchase with your Google Play payment method.
- Coins are added to your balance, or VIP is activated immediately.
Because Google Play handles the transaction, your purchase history and receipts are available in your Google Play account. If a purchase does not appear, check your Google Play order history first, then contact support through the app.
How to cancel VIP
VIP is a Google Play subscription. To cancel, you must use Google Play, not the OMNE app alone. The steps are:
- Open the Google Play Store on your device.
- Tap your profile icon and go to Payments and subscriptions.
- Select Subscriptions and find OMNE (omne5).
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
You will keep VIP access until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling stops future renewals. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. If you cancel during a free trial, check the terms shown by Google Play to avoid being charged.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults in Mauritania who want a straightforward way to meet new people, whether for friendship, dating, or conversation. It suits people who prefer a freemium model where the basics are free and extras are optional. It is not for anyone seeking guaranteed matches or instant results. If you are under 18, OMNE is not for you. If you are looking for a tool that respects your budget and lets you decide when to pay, the coin and VIP structure is designed to be transparent.
Good to know before you buy
Prices are set by Google Play and can vary by country, currency, and promotions. This page does not list prices because they may change. Always confirm the price on the Google Play purchase screen before you confirm. Coins are non-refundable except where required by law or Google Play policy. VIP renews automatically until cancelled. If you have questions about a charge, start with Google Play support, then reach out to OMNE support through the app.
