OMNE Coins and VIP Explained for Myanmar Users

If you have seen coins or a VIP badge inside OMNE and wondered what they actually do, this guide breaks down the structure without guessing at prices. OMNE is a dating app used by people in Myanmar and beyond, and like many apps it offers a free experience plus optional paid extras. Here is how those extras are organised, what stays free, and how purchases and cancellations work through Google Play.

How OMNE works

OMNE (package com.omne5.app) is a mobile dating app available on Google Play. You create a profile, browse people, and start conversations. The core experience is free. Coins and VIP are optional layers that sit on top of that core, designed for people who want more flexibility or visibility. In Myanmar, where mobile data can be inconsistent and Google Play is the standard way to install apps, OMNE keeps the free path usable so you can try the app before deciding whether any paid feature is worth it for you.

Nothing about OMNE requires you to buy coins or VIP to create a profile or send a first message. The paid parts are additions, not gates that lock the whole app.

What OMNE coins are for

Coins are a virtual currency inside OMNE. You buy them through Google Play, and they sit in your account until you choose to spend them. They are not a subscription and they do not renew on their own. Think of them as a small balance you top up when you want to use a specific feature.

Coins are typically used for one-off actions that give you more control over how you meet people. The exact list can change as OMNE updates, but the structure is consistent:

• Extra visibility — putting your profile in front of more people for a period of time.
• Optional boosts — short windows where your profile is shown more often.
• Small conveniences — features that save time or let you revisit a profile you passed on.

Because coins are spent per action, they suit people who want to use a feature occasionally rather than commit to a monthly plan. If you only need a boost now and then, coins are the simpler option. If you want ongoing extras, VIP is the other path.

What VIP adds

VIP is a subscription. Unlike coins, it renews automatically until you cancel. It is built for people who use OMNE regularly and want a set of advantages that stay switched on rather than buying them one at a time.

The VIP structure usually includes:

• More profile visibility — your profile appears more often in the people others see.
• Additional control over who can contact you — settings that help you manage incoming messages.
• Access to extras that are limited on the free tier — such as seeing who liked you or using more advanced filters.
• A VIP badge — a visible marker on your profile.

The exact feature set can differ by region and by app version, so always check the VIP screen inside OMNE before subscribing. What matters for planning is the shape: VIP is recurring, coins are one-off. Neither is required to use OMNE.

What stays free

It is worth being clear about what you can do in OMNE without paying anything. The free tier is not a trial that expires. It includes:

• Creating a profile and adding photos and details.
• Browsing and viewing other profiles.
• Liking and passing on people.
• Sending and receiving messages within the app's free limits.
• Basic safety and reporting tools.

Free limits exist — for example, the number of people you can like in a day or the number of messages you can send — but the app remains usable. If you are new to OMNE in Myanmar, start free, learn how people use it in your area, and only consider coins or VIP if a specific limit is actually getting in your way.

How purchases work through Google Play

All OMNE coin and VIP purchases on Android go through Google Play billing. OMNE does not ask for your card details directly. When you tap to buy coins or start VIP, Google Play shows the price in your local currency, confirms the payment method on your Google account, and processes the charge.

This has a few practical consequences:

1. Your receipt lives in Google Play. You can review past purchases under Payments and subscriptions in the Play Store.
2. Prices are shown before you confirm. OMNE does not hide the amount; Google Play displays it on the confirmation screen.
3. Payment methods are managed by Google. If you need to change a card or add a mobile payment method, you do that in your Google account settings, not inside OMNE.
4. Refunds follow Google Play policy. If something goes wrong with a charge, the request goes through Google Play support.

Because billing is handled by Google, OMNE cannot charge you outside of what you approve in the Play purchase flow. Keep your Google account secure, and be aware of who else might have access to your device if it is shared.

How to cancel VIP

Cancelling VIP is done through Google Play, not inside OMNE. The steps are straightforward:

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions.
3. Select Subscriptions and find OMNE in the list.
4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

After cancelling, VIP stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then stops renewing. Coins are different: they are not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel. You simply stop buying them. If you uninstall OMNE, your Google Play subscription does not cancel automatically, so cancel it first if you want to stop future charges.

Who OMNE is for

OMNE is for adults who want a straightforward dating app and are comfortable with a free core plus optional paid extras. It suits people in Myanmar who prefer to test an app before spending, and who like the idea of buying a small coin balance rather than committing to a subscription. It is not for people looking for a fully free app with unlimited everything, and it is not a guarantee of matches or replies. Paid features change how visible you are and what tools you have; they do not change who chooses to talk to you. If that honesty about limits matters to you, OMNE is built around it.

Ready to see how it works for yourself? Download OMNE free on Google Play, explore the free features first, and decide later whether coins or VIP fit how you use the app.
