OMNE Coins and VIP Explained for Sierra Leone
If you are using OMNE in Sierra Leone, you may have noticed two optional extras: coins and VIP. This guide explains what each one does, what you still get for free, and how purchases and cancellations work through Google Play. OMNE is designed to be usable without spending anything, so think of coins and VIP as optional tools rather than requirements.
How OMNE works
OMNE (package com.omne5.app) is a dating app that connects people through profiles, matches, and conversations. In Sierra Leone, users open the app on Android, create a profile, and start discovering people nearby or in other cities. The core experience — browsing, matching, and chatting — is available without coins or VIP. Coins and VIP are add-ons that give you more ways to interact or stand out, but they do not change the basic mechanics of matching. You can use OMNE entirely on the free tier and still have a complete dating experience.
What OMNE coins are for
Coins are a virtual currency inside OMNE. They are used for small, one-off actions that go beyond the standard free features. Think of them as a way to unlock extra interactions when you want them, without committing to a subscription. The exact actions that cost coins can vary, but they generally fall into these categories:
- Boosts or visibility upgrades: spend coins to make your profile more visible for a short period.
- Extra interactions: unlock additional likes, rewinds, or similar actions beyond the daily free limit.
- Profile enhancements: access certain profile customizations or see who liked you, depending on current features.
Coins are bought in packs through Google Play. The number of coins per pack and the price are shown in the app at the time of purchase. We do not list prices here because they can change and may vary by region. Always check the Google Play checkout screen for the exact amount before you confirm.
What OMNE VIP adds
VIP is a subscription that bundles several premium features together. Instead of spending coins one action at a time, VIP gives you ongoing access to a set of advantages for as long as the subscription is active. Typical VIP benefits include:
- More daily actions: higher limits on likes and other interactions.
- See who liked you: view the people who have already shown interest in your profile.
- Boosted visibility: your profile may be shown more often in discovery.
- Ad-free experience: remove ads if ads are present in the free tier.
- Extra controls: additional filters or settings for browsing.
The exact VIP feature set is displayed in the app before you subscribe. VIP is billed on a recurring basis through Google Play, and the billing period (for example, monthly) is shown at checkout. Prices are not listed in this article because they are set in Google Play and can differ by country and over time.
What stays free on OMNE
You do not need coins or VIP to use OMNE meaningfully. The free tier includes the essentials:
- Creating and editing your profile.
- Browsing profiles and receiving matches.
- Sending and receiving messages with your matches.
- Daily likes and basic discovery features.
Coins and VIP simply extend these basics. If you are in Sierra Leone and want to try OMNE without spending, the free version is fully functional for dating and chatting.
How purchases work through Google Play
All coin packs and VIP subscriptions on OMNE for Android are processed by Google Play. This means your payment method is charged by Google, not directly by OMNE. Here is the typical flow:
- Open OMNE and go to the coins or VIP section.
- Choose a coin pack or VIP plan. The price and billing period are shown on the Google Play checkout screen.
- Confirm the purchase with your Google Play payment method.
- Coins are added to your balance, or VIP is activated immediately.
Because Google Play handles billing, your purchase history, receipts, and payment details are managed through your Google account. If a purchase fails or you are charged unexpectedly, check your Google Play account first. OMNE does not store your card details.
How to cancel OMNE VIP
VIP is a subscription, so it renews automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time through Google Play. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep VIP access until the end of the current billing period. To cancel:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions and find OMNE (com.omne5.app).
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
If you do not see OMNE in the subscriptions list, you may have purchased coins (one-time) rather than VIP (recurring). Coins are not subscriptions and do not renew. For refund requests, use Google Play's support options, as Google handles all transactions.
Tip: Before subscribing to VIP, check the billing period and price on the Google Play checkout screen. That is the authoritative source for what you will pay.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults who want a straightforward dating app experience. It suits people in Sierra Leone who want to meet others locally or across the country, and who prefer a free core experience with optional upgrades. It is not a guarantee of matches or relationships, and it is not designed for users under 18. If you enjoy the free features and want more visibility or extra interactions, coins or VIP may be useful. If not, the free version remains fully usable.
Using coins and VIP wisely
Treat coins and VIP as optional tools. Start with the free tier, learn how you use the app, and only then decide whether a coin pack or VIP subscription adds value for you. Because billing goes through Google Play, you can review your subscriptions and purchase history at any time. OMNE aims to be transparent: features and prices are shown in the app before you pay, and you can cancel VIP whenever you choose.
