OMNE coins and VIP explained for Thailand
If you are new to OMNE in Thailand, you have probably noticed two paid options: OMNE coins and OMNE VIP. This guide explains what each one does, what remains free, and how purchases and cancellations work through Google Play. We focus on structure and honest expectations, not prices, because prices can change and are shown in the app before you pay.
What OMNE coins are for
OMNE coins are a virtual credit inside the app. You use them for one-off actions that go beyond the free experience. Think of coins as pay-as-you-go: you buy a bundle, and the coins sit in your balance until you spend them. They are not a subscription and do not renew automatically.
Coins typically unlock things like:
- Extra visibility for your profile for a limited time.
- One-time boosts when you want more people to see you.
- Special interactions that are not part of the free tier.
- Small conveniences that save time while browsing.
Coins are best for people who want flexibility without a recurring charge. You decide when to spend and how much. The exact coin costs for each action are listed in the app, so you always see the price before confirming.
What OMNE VIP adds
OMNE VIP is a subscription. Instead of buying credits one by one, you pay for a period (such as a week, month or longer) and get a set of ongoing benefits. VIP is designed for people who use OMNE regularly and want a smoother, more feature-rich experience.
VIP typically includes:
- Ad-free browsing so you can focus on profiles.
- More visibility than the free tier, such as priority placement or extra boosts.
- Additional filters or discovery options to narrow your search.
- Convenience features like seeing who liked you or undoing accidental actions (availability may vary).
- A recurring allotment of coins in some plans, so you can still use coin features.
VIP does not guarantee matches or replies. It simply changes how the app works for you. The exact benefits and plan lengths are shown on the VIP screen inside OMNE before you subscribe.
What stays free on OMNE
OMNE is free to download and use. You do not need coins or VIP to create a profile, browse, or start conversations. The free tier includes the core dating experience:
- Creating and editing your profile.
- Browsing and discovering other members.
- Sending and receiving messages within the app's limits.
- Basic search and matching features.
Paid options are optional extras. Many people use OMNE entirely for free and have a good experience. If you are curious about coins or VIP, you can try them later without losing your free access.
How purchases work through Google Play
All purchases in OMNE on Android go through Google Play's billing system. This keeps your payment details with Google rather than with the app. Here is the general flow:
- Open OMNE and go to the coins or VIP section.
- Choose a coin bundle or VIP plan. The price in Thai baht is shown before you confirm.
- Tap to purchase. Google Play will ask you to confirm with your saved payment method.
- Once approved, coins are added to your balance or VIP is activated on your account.
Because Google handles the transaction, you can view your purchase history and manage payment methods in your Google Play account. If a purchase does not appear, check that you are signed in with the same Google account you used to pay.
OMNE and omne5 do not store your card details. Refunds and billing disputes are handled according to Google Play's policies, so contact Google Play support for payment issues.
How to cancel OMNE VIP
VIP is a subscription, so it renews automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and you will keep VIP benefits until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling stops future charges.
To cancel on Android:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions and find OMNE (package com.omne5.app).
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
You can also manage subscriptions through the Google Play website. If you uninstall the app, the subscription does not cancel automatically, so always cancel through Google Play. Coins are not a subscription and do not need cancelling; they simply remain in your balance until used.
How OMNE works
OMNE is a dating app designed for meeting new people, and it works in Thailand just like anywhere else: you create a profile, browse members, and start conversations. The app is available on Google Play as omne5. In Thailand, you can use OMNE in Thai or English, and you can set your location to your city or area. Coins and VIP are optional tools that change how you appear or what you can do, but the core matching experience remains the same. OMNE aims to be straightforward: you see what a feature costs before you pay, and you can use the app for free if you prefer.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults who want a simple, honest dating app without pressure. It suits people who are new to online dating and want to start free, as well as regular users who want more visibility or convenience through coins or VIP. It is not a guarantee of matches, and it is not designed for people looking for instant results. If you value clarity about what you pay for and the ability to cancel easily, OMNE is built with that in mind. The app is intended for users in Thailand and beyond, and you should always follow local laws and Google Play's terms.

Can I use OMNE without VIP?

No. OMNE is free to download and use. Coins are optional and only needed if you want to unlock extra features or visibility. You can enjoy the core dating experience without spending anything.
What is the difference between OMNE coins and VIP?
Coins are one-time credits you spend on specific actions, while VIP is a recurring subscription that gives ongoing benefits like ad-free browsing and extra visibility. Coins do not renew; VIP renews until you cancel.

Cancel through Google Play: open the Play Store app, tap your profile, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, find OMNE (com.omne5.app), and tap Cancel subscription. You will keep VIP until the end of the paid period.
Are prices for coins and VIP the same for everyone in Thailand?
Prices are shown in Thai baht inside the app and may vary based on Google Play's regional pricing and any applicable taxes. Always check the price on the confirmation screen before you pay.
