How much does OMNE cost in Mauritania? Coins, VIP and what is free
If you are in Mauritania and wondering how much does OMNE cost in Mauritania, the short answer is: OMNE is free to download and use for core features, with optional paid extras like coin packs and VIP. There are no hidden fees, and you only pay when you choose to. This article explains the free tier, the structure of coin packs, VIP benefits, how purchases work through Google Play, and how to cancel any subscription.
How OMNE works
OMNE (also known as omne5) is a dating and social discovery app available on Google Play. In Mauritania, you can download it for free and start browsing profiles, sending likes, and matching with people. The app uses a freemium model: the basic experience is free, and you can optionally buy coins or a VIP subscription to unlock extra features. Payments are handled by Google Play, so you will see prices in your local currency (MRU) or the currency of your Google Play account. OMNE does not set or display prices itself; Google Play shows the exact amount before you confirm any purchase.
What is free on OMNE
When you download OMNE for free, you get access to the core dating experience without paying anything. The free tier is designed to be useful on its own, not just a trial. Here is what you can typically do for free:
- Create your profile and add photos.
- Browse profiles and see who is nearby.
- Send likes and receive matches.
- Chat with your matches (with some daily limits).
- Use basic search filters.
Free users may see occasional ads or have limits on certain actions, such as the number of likes per day or the number of messages you can send. These limits are there to keep the experience balanced and to prevent spam. You can always use OMNE without spending money; paid features are optional.
Optional coin packs
Coins are OMNE's in-app currency. You can buy coin packs with real money through Google Play. Coins let you access extra features without a recurring subscription. For example, you might use coins to send a Super Like, boost your profile for more visibility, or unlock additional messages. The exact number of coins per pack and the price of each pack are set in the app and displayed by Google Play at checkout. Prices can vary by region and may change over time, so we do not list fixed prices here. Instead, know that coin packs are one-time purchases: you buy them when you need them, and they do not renew automatically.
VIP subscription benefits
VIP is a recurring subscription that unlocks a bundle of premium features for a set period (for example, one month). While the exact benefits can change, VIP typically includes:
- Unlimited likes.
- See who liked you.
- More visibility in search results.
- Advanced filters.
- Ad-free experience.
- Monthly coin bonus (sometimes included).
VIP is optional and renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. The subscription price is shown in Google Play before you confirm, and it may vary depending on the plan duration and your location. OMNE does not control the final price you see; Google Play calculates it based on your country and currency.
In-app purchases on Google Play
All payments in OMNE go through Google Play's billing system. This means you need a Google Play account with a valid payment method. When you tap to buy coins or start a VIP subscription, Google Play shows a confirmation screen with the exact price, currency, and renewal terms. You must approve the purchase before any charge is made. OMNE never sees or stores your payment details; Google Play handles the transaction securely. If you have Google Play credit or a promo code, you can use it for OMNE purchases. Keep in mind that prices are displayed in the currency of your Google Play account, which for users in Mauritania is typically Mauritanian ouguiya (MRU), but may vary if your account is registered elsewhere.
How to cancel a subscription
If you subscribed to VIP and want to stop future charges, you need to cancel through Google Play, not inside the OMNE app. Here is how:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Find OMNE in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
You can also manage subscriptions via the Google Play website. Cancelling stops future renewals, but you will retain VIP benefits until the end of the current billing period. Coin packs are one-time purchases and cannot be cancelled or refunded after purchase, except as required by Google Play's refund policy. If you uninstall the app, your subscription will not be cancelled automatically; you must cancel it through Google Play.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults in Mauritania and around the world who want to meet new people, make friends, or find a relationship. It is designed for people who value a simple, mobile-first experience and who appreciate the option to upgrade only if they need extra features. OMNE is not for anyone under 18, and it is not a place for harassment or spam. If you are looking for a free dating app with optional paid extras, OMNE fits that description. If you prefer to avoid any in-app purchases, you can still use the free version indefinitely.
Is OMNE worth paying for?
Whether you pay for coins or VIP depends on how you use the app. If you are happy with the free limits, you can enjoy OMNE without spending anything. If you want more visibility, unlimited likes, or the ability to see who liked you, VIP can be a convenient upgrade. Coin packs are useful for occasional boosts without a recurring commitment. Remember that paid features do not guarantee matches or responses; they simply enhance your experience. We recommend starting with the free version, exploring the app, and then deciding if the extra features are worth it for you.
Prices and features may change. Always check the Google Play checkout screen for the exact price before you confirm any purchase.
