How much does OMNE cost in Myanmar? Coins, VIP and what is free
If you are in Myanmar and considering OMNE (also known as omne5), you probably want a clear answer to one question: how much does it cost? The short answer is that OMNE is free to download and use, with optional paid extras. This article explains the structure honestly, without inventing exact prices, so you can decide what fits your budget.
How OMNE works
OMNE is a dating app available on Google Play (package com.omne5.app). In Myanmar, you can create a profile, browse matches, and start conversations without paying. The app uses a freemium model: core features are free, while coins and VIP are optional upgrades. OMNE does not require a subscription to use the basic service, and you can enjoy the app without ever making a purchase.
Myanmar users access OMNE through Google Play, which handles all payments in the local currency or your Google account's currency. This means you do not need a separate wallet or bank transfer; everything goes through Google Play's billing system.
What is free on OMNE
The free tier is designed to be useful on its own. Here is what you can do without spending anything:
- Create and edit your profile with photos and a bio.
- Browse profiles and see who is nearby.
- Send a limited number of likes or messages per day (limits may vary).
- Receive messages from people you match with.
- Use basic search and discovery filters.
Free users can enjoy OMNE as a casual dating experience. There is no time limit and no forced trial. You can stay on the free tier indefinitely.
Optional coin packs
Coins are OMNE's virtual currency. You can buy coin packs with real money through Google Play. Coins let you access small extras without committing to a subscription. Typical uses include:
- Boosting your profile for a short period to get more visibility.
- Sending extra likes or messages beyond the free daily limit.
- Unlocking certain profile insights or filters.
Coin packs come in different sizes, and the price per coin usually improves with larger packs. OMNE does not publish fixed prices in this article because they can vary by region and change over time. You will always see the exact price in Myanmar kyat (or your Google Play currency) before you confirm a purchase.
VIP membership benefits
VIP is OMNE's premium subscription. It is billed on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or another period) through Google Play. VIP is optional and designed for users who want more from the app. Common VIP benefits include:
- Unlimited likes or a higher daily limit.
- See who liked you.
- Advanced filters (age, distance, interests).
- Profile boosts at regular intervals.
- Ad-free experience (if ads are present in your region).
VIP does not guarantee matches or replies. It simply removes some limits and adds convenience. The exact benefits and subscription periods are shown in the app before you subscribe.
How in-app purchases work on Google Play
All payments on OMNE go through Google Play's billing system. When you tap a coin pack or VIP plan, Google Play shows a confirmation screen with the price, billing period, and any taxes. You must confirm with your Google account password or biometric authentication. OMNE never sees your card details; Google handles the transaction securely.
After purchase, coins or VIP status are added to your OMNE account automatically. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, your purchases remain linked to your Google account, so you can restore them by signing in with the same account.
How to cancel VIP or manage purchases
You can cancel VIP at any time through Google Play. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep VIP benefits until the end of the current billing period. Here is how:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select OMNE (or omne5) and tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.
For coin packs (one-time purchases), there is no subscription to cancel. If you believe a purchase was made in error, you can request a refund through Google Play's support within the allowed window. OMNE cannot process refunds directly because Google handles billing.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults in Myanmar who want a straightforward dating app with a free entry point and optional upgrades. It suits people who prefer to try before paying and who are comfortable managing subscriptions through Google Play. It is not for anyone seeking guaranteed matches or instant results. If you are under 18, OMNE is not for you. Also, if you are not ready to engage respectfully with others, no paid feature will fix that.
Honest note: OMNE does not promise love or dates. Paid features only change how you use the app, not who you meet.
Ready to try OMNE? Download OMNE free on Google Play today and explore the free features at your own pace. You can always add coins or VIP later if you find them useful.
