How much does OMNE cost in Oman? Coins, VIP and what is free
If you are in Oman and considering OMNE, you probably want a clear answer to one question: how much does OMNE cost in Oman? The honest answer is that OMNE is free to download and use for core features, and any spending is optional. There is no mandatory subscription to start chatting or browsing. Below we explain the free tier, the optional coin packs, what VIP adds, how billing works through Google Play, and how to cancel if you change your mind. We do not list exact prices because they can vary by region, currency and promotions inside the app. Instead, you will learn the structure so you can decide with confidence.
How OMNE works
OMNE (package com.omne5.app) is a dating and social discovery app available on Google Play. In Oman, you can create a profile, add photos and a short bio, and start exploring matches. The app uses a freemium model: the basic experience is free, and optional paid items unlock extra convenience or visibility. When you open the app, you will see the current offers in Omani Rial or your Google Play account currency. OMNE does not hide fees; any paid item is shown before you confirm a purchase. The key is that you choose whether to spend, and you can use OMNE without spending anything.
What is free on OMNE
The free tier is designed to let you try the app properly. You can download OMNE at no cost, register, build your profile, and browse potential matches. Free users can send a limited number of likes or messages per day, depending on the current app version. You can also edit your profile, add photos, and adjust basic discovery settings. Free access is not a trial that expires; it is the standard way to use OMNE. Many people in Oman use OMNE entirely for free and still meet people. The free tier is honest: it gives you enough to see if the app fits your style, without forcing a payment.
Optional coin packs
Coins are OMNE’s in-app currency. You can buy coin packs to use for specific actions, such as boosting your profile for more visibility, sending extra messages, or unlocking certain features. Coin packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. The app shows several pack sizes, and the price per coin may differ slightly between packs. You do not need coins to use the free features. Think of coins as a top-up for when you want extra reach or convenience. OMNE displays the exact coin amount and price before you pay, so you stay in control. If you never buy coins, your OMNE experience remains free.
What VIP adds
VIP is an optional subscription that adds benefits on top of the free tier. While the exact VIP features can change, they typically include things like seeing who liked you, more daily likes or messages, profile boosts, and advanced filters. VIP is billed on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) through Google Play. The app shows the VIP benefits and the billing period before you subscribe. VIP does not guarantee matches or replies; it simply removes some limits and adds visibility tools. If you are curious, you can compare the free tier and VIP inside the app and decide whether the extra features are worth it for you.
How in-app purchases work on Google Play
All payments in OMNE on Android are handled by Google Play. When you tap a coin pack or VIP option, Google Play shows a confirmation screen with the price in your local currency. You can pay using the payment method linked to your Google account, such as a credit card, Google Play gift card, or carrier billing where available. OMNE does not receive or store your full payment details; Google Play processes the transaction. After purchase, the coins or VIP status are applied to your OMNE account. You can review your purchase history in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. If a purchase does not appear, check your Google Play account and then contact OMNE support through the app.
How to cancel VIP or manage subscriptions
Because VIP is billed through Google Play, you cancel it in Google Play, not inside OMNE. Here is the standard path: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find OMNE in the list and tap Cancel subscription. Follow the prompts. You will keep VIP access until the end of the current billing period, and it will not renew. Coin packs are one-time purchases and do not need cancellation. If you uninstall OMNE, your subscription may still renew, so cancel it in Google Play first. For refund requests, use Google Play’s refund process; OMNE cannot issue refunds directly for Google Play charges.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults in Oman who want a straightforward dating and social app without a mandatory paywall. It suits people who prefer to start free, see how the app feels, and only pay for extras if they find them useful. It is not for anyone looking for guaranteed dates or instant results. OMNE works best for those who are patient, respectful, and willing to complete their profile honestly. If you are under 18, OMNE is not for you. If you dislike in-app purchases entirely, you can still use the free tier, but you will have daily limits. The app is transparent about what is free and what is optional, so you can make an informed choice.
