How much does OMNE cost in Thailand? Coins, VIP and what is free
If you are considering OMNE (also known as omne5) in Thailand, you probably want to know what it costs before you sign up. The short answer: OMNE is free to download and use, with optional in-app purchases for extra features. This article explains the free tier, coin packs, VIP membership, how billing works on Google Play, and how to cancel. We do not list exact prices because they can change and may vary by promotion or region. Instead, we describe the structure so you know what to expect.
How OMNE works
OMNE is a dating app available on Google Play. In Thailand, you can download it for free and create a profile, browse matches, and start conversations without paying. The app uses a freemium model: core features are free, while some optional features require coins or a VIP subscription. Coins are a virtual currency you can buy in packs, and VIP is a subscription that unlocks additional benefits for a period of time. All purchases are processed through Google Play, so you use the payment method linked to your Google account. Prices are displayed in Thai baht (THB) before you confirm any purchase.
What is free on OMNE
OMNE offers a generous free tier so you can try the app without spending money. Here is what you can do for free:
- Create your profile and add photos.
- Browse profiles and see who is nearby.
- Like and match with other users (subject to daily limits).
- Send and receive messages with your matches.
- Use basic search filters.
Free users may have daily limits on likes or messages, and some advanced features are locked. These limits are designed to keep the experience balanced and encourage genuine interactions.
Optional coin packs
Coins are OMNE's virtual currency. You can buy coin packs with real money through Google Play. Coins let you access certain features without a subscription, such as:
- Boosting your profile for more visibility.
- Sending virtual gifts.
- Unlocking extra likes or messages beyond the free limit.
- Accessing premium filters or features.
Coin packs come in different sizes, and larger packs often offer better value per coin. The exact prices and coin amounts are shown in the app before you buy. You can purchase coins at any time, and they do not expire. However, coins are non-refundable once used, so buy only what you need.
VIP membership benefits
VIP is a subscription that gives you a bundle of premium features for a set period (e.g., one month). While the exact benefits may change, typical VIP perks include:
- Unlimited likes and messages.
- See who liked you.
- Boost your profile regularly.
- Advanced filters and search options.
- Ad-free experience (if ads are present).
- Priority customer support.
VIP is optional and renews automatically unless you cancel. The subscription price is displayed in the app and charged through Google Play. You can cancel anytime; you will retain VIP benefits until the end of the current billing period.
In-app purchases on Google Play
All purchases in OMNE are handled by Google Play. When you tap to buy coins or VIP, a Google Play payment sheet appears. You can pay using a credit card, debit card, Google Play gift card, or carrier billing (if available in Thailand). Google Play sends a receipt to your email. OMNE does not store your payment details; Google handles the transaction securely. If you have issues with a purchase, contact Google Play support first, as they manage billing.
How to cancel VIP or manage purchases
To cancel your VIP subscription or manage coin purchases, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Go to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Find OMNE in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
You can also manage or cancel via the Google Play website. Cancellation stops future charges, but you keep VIP access until the end of the paid period. Coin purchases are one-time and cannot be cancelled, but you can request a refund from Google Play if you have a valid reason.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is designed for adults in Thailand who want to meet new people, whether for friendship, dating, or long-term relationships. It is suitable for those who prefer a freemium model where they can start for free and only pay for extras if they choose. If you are looking for a straightforward dating app with optional premium features and clear billing through Google Play, OMNE (omne5) could be a good fit. It is not for people under 18, and we encourage respectful behavior.
Tips to manage your spending
To keep costs under control, set a budget for in-app purchases, use Google Play's purchase verification settings, and review your subscription status regularly. Remember that OMNE is free to use; you never have to buy coins or VIP to enjoy the core experience. If you decide to purchase, do so consciously and enjoy the extra features.
