OMNE FAQ for Lebanon: Free, Coins, VIP & More
If you are in Lebanon and considering OMNE for meeting new people, you probably have practical questions before you sign up. This FAQ covers the essentials: cost, coins, VIP, verification, video calls, account management, matching, languages, and availability on Google Play. The answers are straightforward and based on how the app is designed to work, without invented prices or promises.
How OMNE works
OMNE is a dating and social discovery app that helps adults meet new people through matching, chat, and optional video calls. In Lebanon, users can create a profile, add photos and interests, and then browse potential matches. The app uses a matching system that considers your preferences and activity to suggest people you might like. You can chat with matches and, when both are comfortable, move to a video call. OMNE and omne5 are the same service; omne5 is the package name on Google Play. The app is designed to be usable for free, with optional paid features like coins and VIP for those who want more.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults (18+) in Lebanon who want to meet new people for dating, friendship, or conversation. It is not a marriage bureau or a guaranteed matchmaking service. It suits people who are comfortable with a mobile-first experience and who value the ability to verify profiles and use video calls before meeting in person. If you prefer a slow, highly curated matchmaking process, OMNE may not be the best fit. The app is honest about being a tool for connection, not a promise of results.
1. Is OMNE free to use in Lebanon?
Yes, OMNE can be used for free. You can create a profile, browse matches, and use basic features without paying. Some features, such as certain interactions or boosts, may require coins or a VIP subscription. The free version is functional, but paid options exist for users who want more visibility or additional capabilities. OMNE does not hide the fact that it is a freemium app.
2. How do coins work on OMNE?
Coins are an in-app currency used for specific actions, such as sending certain types of messages or using features that are not part of the free tier. You can purchase coins through Google Play billing. The exact coin packages and their prices are shown in the app before you buy, and they may vary by region. OMNE does not publish fixed prices here because they can change; always check the app for the current offer. Coins are non-transferable and are used within the app.
3. How does VIP work on OMNE?
VIP is a subscription that unlocks additional features, which may include more visibility, advanced filters, or other perks. The subscription is handled through Google Play, and the price and duration are displayed before you confirm. VIP does not guarantee matches or responses; it simply provides extra tools. You can manage or cancel your VIP subscription through your Google Play account settings. OMNE aims to be transparent about what VIP includes, so read the details in the app.
4. How do I verify my profile on OMNE?
Profile verification is optional but recommended. The app may offer a verification process, such as photo verification, where you take a live selfie that is compared to your profile photos. This helps confirm that you are a real person and can increase trust with other users. Verification is not a guarantee of safety, but it is a useful signal. Follow the prompts in the app to complete verification if you choose to do so.
5. How do I make a video call on OMNE?
Video calls are typically available after you have matched and exchanged messages. The exact steps depend on the app version, but generally you can initiate a video call from the chat screen if the feature is enabled for both users. Both parties must consent to the call. OMNE does not record video calls, and you should always respect the other person's privacy. If you cannot find the video call option, check that you have the latest version of the app from Google Play.
6. How do I cancel my VIP subscription on OMNE?
If you subscribed to VIP through Google Play, you can cancel it in your Google Play account under Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals, but you may retain access until the end of the current billing period. OMNE does not process cancellations directly; Google Play handles the billing. If you have trouble, consult Google Play support. Always cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
7. How do I delete my OMNE account?
You can delete your account from within the app settings. Look for an option like "Delete account" or "Close account" in your profile or settings menu. Deleting your account is permanent and will remove your profile and associated data, subject to the app's privacy policy and legal retention requirements. If you cannot find the option, contact support through the app or the developer contact listed on Google Play. OMNE (omne5) takes account deletion requests seriously.
8. How does matching work on OMNE?
OMNE uses a matching system that suggests profiles based on your preferences, location, and activity. You can like or pass on profiles, and when there is mutual interest, you match and can chat. The algorithm is designed to learn from your interactions to improve suggestions over time. Matching is not random, but it also does not guarantee a certain number of matches. Your profile completeness and activity can influence results. OMNE encourages honest profiles for better matches.
9. What languages does OMNE support?
OMNE supports multiple languages, and the available languages can vary by app version and region. In Lebanon, you can likely use the app in Arabic, English, and possibly French, but check your device settings and the app's language options. The app interface may be localized, while user-generated content can be in any language. OMNE continues to add language support over time.
10. Is OMNE available on Google Play in Lebanon?
Yes, OMNE is available on Google Play. The package name is com.omne5.app, and you can find it by searching for "OMNE" or "omne5" in the Google Play Store. Availability may depend on your device and region, but it is generally accessible in Lebanon. Always download from Google Play to ensure you have the official, safe version of the app.
