How much does OMNE cost in Armenia? Coins, VIP and what is free

If you are in Armenia and wondering how much OMNE costs, the short answer is: OMNE is free to download and use for the core experience. You can create a profile, browse, and start conversations without paying. Optional coin packs and a VIP tier exist for people who want extra visibility or convenience, but they are not required to use the app. This article explains the structure of OMNE's pricing, what stays free, and how purchases and cancellations work on Google Play in Armenia.

How OMNE works

OMNE (also known as omne5) is a dating and social discovery app available on Google Play. In Armenia, you can install it on most Android phones, sign up with your phone number or email, and build a profile. The app uses your location and preferences to suggest people nearby, so someone in Yerevan may see different profiles than someone in Gyumri or Vanadzor. You can like, match, and chat. The basic mechanics — creating a profile, browsing, matching, and messaging — are available without paying. Optional features are where coins and VIP come in.

What is free on OMNE

The free tier is designed to be genuinely usable, not a demo. Here is what you can do without spending anything:

• Create and edit your profile, add photos and a bio.
• Browse and discover people based on your preferences.
• Like and match with others.
• Send and receive messages with your matches.
• Use basic search and filters.

These features are available to everyone in Armenia, regardless of whether you ever make a purchase. There is no time limit on the free tier and no requirement to add a payment method to start.

Optional coin packs

OMNE uses a virtual currency called coins. Coins are optional and are sold in packs. The exact price of each pack can vary by country, by currency, and by promotions, so we do not list fixed numbers here — you will see the current prices inside the app before you confirm any purchase. Coins are typically used for things like:

• Boosting your profile for a period of time.
• Unlocking certain premium interactions.
• Sending special signals or gifts, depending on what is available in your version of the app.

Coins are a one-time purchase model: you buy a pack, you spend the coins, and you can buy more later if you want. They do not renew automatically. If you never buy coins, the free features still work.

VIP: what it adds

VIP is a subscription tier for people who want more visibility and convenience. Like coins, the exact price is shown in the app and can vary by region and over time. VIP is structured as a recurring subscription, which means it renews automatically until you cancel. Typical VIP benefits include:

• Increased visibility so more people see your profile.
• Additional likes or super-likes, depending on the plan.
• See who liked you, if that feature is included in your version.
• Ad-free or reduced-ad experience, where ads exist.
• Priority placement in discovery.

VIP is not required to use OMNE. It is a convenience layer. If you are unsure, start free, see how the app fits your routine, and only subscribe if you find it useful.

How in-app purchases work on Google Play in Armenia

All payments on OMNE go through Google Play's billing system. That means:

1. You need a Google account with a valid payment method (card, Google Play balance, or carrier billing where supported).
2. When you tap to buy coins or start VIP, Google Play shows a confirmation sheet with the exact price in your local currency.
3. You confirm, and the charge appears on your Google Play account.
4. For subscriptions like VIP, Google Play manages the renewal schedule and sends reminders before renewal where required.

Because Google Play handles billing, OMNE does not store your card details. If a payment fails, the issue is usually with the payment method in your Google Play account, not with the app itself.

How to cancel VIP or manage purchases

You can cancel a VIP subscription at any time through Google Play. The steps are:

1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
3. Find OMNE in the list and tap it.
4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

After cancelling, you keep VIP benefits until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling stops future renewals. Coin packs are one-time purchases and do not need to be cancelled. If you uninstall the app, that does not cancel a subscription — you must cancel through Google Play.

Who OMNE is for

OMNE is for adults who want a straightforward way to meet new people, whether for dating, friendship, or conversation. It is not a marriage agency, not a guarantee of matches, and not a replacement for real-world social skills. It works best for people who are willing to write a real bio, add clear photos, and message first sometimes. If you are looking for a free starting point with optional upgrades, OMNE fits that pattern. If you want a fully paid, high-touch matchmaking service, this is a different kind of product.

Practical tips for spending less

• Use the free tier for at least a week before buying anything.
• Check the in-app price before confirming — prices can differ by region and promotions.
• If you try VIP, set a reminder before the renewal date so you can decide whether to keep it.
• Buy coins only when you have a specific use in mind, not as a habit.
• Keep your Google Play payment method up to date to avoid failed renewals.

Honest summary

OMNE does not have a single price. The free tier covers the core experience. Coin packs are optional one-time purchases. VIP is an optional recurring subscription. Exact amounts are shown in the app and managed by Google Play, so you always see the real number before you pay. There are no hidden fees beyond what Google Play confirms at checkout.

If you want to see how OMNE works for you in Armenia, download OMNE free on Google Play, explore the free features first, and only add coins or VIP if you decide they are worth it.
