How much does OMNE cost in Cape Verde? Coins, VIP and what is free
If you are in Cape Verde and wondering how much OMNE costs, the short answer is: OMNE is free to download and use, with optional in-app purchases for coins and VIP. There are no hidden fees or mandatory subscriptions. This article explains the free tier, coin packs, VIP benefits, and how billing works on Google Play, so you can decide what fits your budget.
How OMNE works
OMNE (also known as omne5) is a dating app available in Cape Verde that helps you meet new people. You can create a profile, browse profiles, and start conversations without paying. The app uses a coin system for certain actions, like sending a Super Like or boosting your profile. Coins are purchased with real money through Google Play. VIP is a subscription that unlocks extra features. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region, but the structure is consistent: free basics, optional coins, and optional VIP.
What is free on OMNE
OMNE offers a generous free tier. You can download the app from Google Play at no cost and use it without entering payment details. Free features include:
- Creating your profile with photos and a bio.
- Browsing profiles of other users in Cape Verde and beyond.
- Liking profiles and matching when someone likes you back.
- Sending and receiving messages with your matches.
- Basic search filters to find people who share your interests.
These features are enough to meet people and have conversations. You only pay if you want to speed things up or access premium tools.
Coin packs: how they work
Coins are OMNE's virtual currency. You can buy coin packs in the app using Google Play billing. Coin packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. The exact price depends on the pack size and your location. Typically, larger packs offer a better value per coin. Coins can be used for:
- Super Likes: to show someone you are especially interested.
- Boosts: to make your profile more visible for a short time.
- Extra features: such as seeing who liked you or rewinding your last swipe.
You can buy coins whenever you want, and they do not expire. There is no obligation to buy coins to use OMNE.
VIP: benefits and structure
VIP is a subscription that gives you access to premium features for a set period. It is optional and can be cancelled anytime. VIP benefits may include:
- Unlimited likes.
- Seeing who liked you.
- Ad-free experience.
- Monthly coin bonus.
- Priority in search results.
VIP is billed through Google Play on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on the plan you choose). The exact price is displayed before you confirm the purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play at any time.
In-app purchases and Google Play
All payments on OMNE go through Google Play. This means you use the payment method linked to your Google account. Google Play handles the transaction securely and sends you a receipt. If you have issues with a purchase, you can contact Google Play support. OMNE does not store your payment details.
How to cancel OMNE VIP
If you decide VIP is not for you, you can cancel easily. Cancelling stops future renewals, but you keep VIP benefits until the end of the current billing period. Here is how:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
- Tap your profile icon and go to Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select OMNE and tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.
You can also cancel from the OMNE app if it provides a direct link to Google Play subscriptions. After cancelling, you will not be charged again. If you uninstall the app, your subscription may remain active, so always cancel through Google Play.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults in Cape Verde who want to meet new people, whether for dating, friendship, or casual conversation. It is not a marriage agency or a guarantee of matches. It works best for people who are honest in their profiles, respectful in chats, and patient. If you are looking for a free app with optional upgrades, OMNE is a good fit. If you prefer a completely free experience with no in-app purchases, you can still use OMNE without buying coins or VIP.
