How Much Does OMNE Cost in China? Coins, VIP and What Is Free
If you are curious about how much does OMNE cost in China, the short answer is: OMNE is free to download and use for core features, with optional in-app purchases for coins and VIP. This guide explains the structure — not exact prices, which can vary by region, promotions, and Google Play settings. We will cover the free tier, coin packs, VIP benefits, how purchases work on Google Play, and how to cancel.
How OMNE works
OMNE (package com.omne5.app) is a dating app available on Google Play. In China, users can download OMNE from Google Play if they have access to it, and the app works similarly to other regions: you create a profile, discover people, match, and chat. The app uses a freemium model. That means you can use OMNE without paying, and you can optionally buy coins or a VIP subscription to unlock extra features or speed things up. OMNE does not require a subscription to start matching and chatting.
Free tier: what you get at no cost
When you download OMNE for free, you get access to the core dating experience. The free tier typically includes:
- Creating your profile with photos and basic info
- Browsing and discovering other users
- Liking or passing on profiles
- Matching with people who like you back
- Sending and receiving messages with your matches
There may be daily limits on some actions, such as the number of likes or messages, to keep the experience fair and encourage meaningful interactions. These limits can change over time. The free tier is designed to let you test OMNE and see if it fits your dating goals before spending any money.
Optional coin packs: pay only when you want extra
OMNE uses a virtual currency called coins. Coins are optional and can be purchased in packs of different sizes. You might use coins for things like:
- Boosting your profile for more visibility
- Sending a Super Like or similar priority signal
- Unlocking additional features or perks
The exact number of coins per pack and the price in your local currency are shown inside the app before you confirm any purchase. Prices can vary based on your Google Play account region, taxes, and any promotions OMNE may run. We do not list exact prices here because they are subject to change and regional differences. Always check the in-app store for the current price.
VIP membership: what it adds
VIP is a subscription that unlocks a set of premium benefits. The exact benefits can evolve, but VIP typically includes:
- Unlimited likes or a higher daily limit
- See who liked you
- Rewind your last swipe
- Ad-free experience (if ads are present in the free tier)
- Monthly coin bonus or other perks
- Priority visibility or a VIP badge
VIP is billed on a recurring basis — for example, weekly, monthly, or quarterly — depending on the plan you choose. The price is displayed in the app before you subscribe. As with coins, the exact price depends on your region and Google Play settings. OMNE does not promise specific results from VIP; it simply gives you more tools and visibility.
How in-app purchases work on Google Play
All purchases in OMNE on Android are handled by Google Play's billing system. This means:
- You add a payment method to your Google Play account.
- When you buy coins or start a VIP subscription, Google Play processes the payment.
- Your purchase is tied to your Google Play account, not to OMNE directly.
- You can view your purchase history in Google Play.
Because Google Play handles billing, OMNE does not store your full payment details. If you have issues with a charge, you may need to contact Google Play support. In China, access to Google Play services can vary, so make sure you can use Google Play before planning any purchase. OMNE itself is free to download.
How to cancel OMNE VIP or manage subscriptions
If you subscribed to VIP through Google Play, you can cancel or manage it in your Google Play account settings. The exact steps can vary by device and Google Play version, but generally:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon.
- Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Find OMNE and select it.
- Choose Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
You can also manage subscriptions via the Google Play website. Cancelling stops future renewals, but you may keep VIP benefits until the end of the current billing period. Coins are usually non-refundable and non-transferable. If you uninstall OMNE, your subscription may still be active unless you cancel it through Google Play.
Free vs paid: a quick comparison
- Free: Create profile, discover, match, chat with limits, basic experience.
- Coins (optional): Buy packs to boost visibility or unlock perks; one-time purchases.
- VIP (optional subscription): Unlimited likes, see who liked you, rewind, ad-free, monthly coins, and more.
You can use OMNE entirely for free if you are patient and do not need extra visibility. Many users start free and only consider coins or VIP if they want to speed up matching or access specific features.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults who want a straightforward dating app experience and are comfortable with a freemium model. It may suit you if:
- You want to try a dating app without paying upfront.
- You are open to optional purchases if you see value.
- You can access Google Play and handle in-app purchases.
- You prefer a simple, no-pressure way to meet new people.
OMNE may not be for you if you want a completely free app with no optional purchases, or if you cannot use Google Play for billing. Be honest with yourself about your budget and dating goals. Never spend more than you can afford, and remember that no app can guarantee matches or relationships.
Tip: Before buying coins or VIP, check the current price in the OMNE app. Prices and benefits can change, and regional differences apply.
Ready to see for yourself? Download OMNE free on Google Play and explore the free tier first. You can always add coins or VIP later if you decide it is worth it for you.
