How much does OMNE cost in Greece? Coins, VIP and what is free
If you are wondering how much OMNE costs in Greece, the short answer is that OMNE is free to download and use, with optional in-app purchases for extra features. There is no mandatory subscription to start chatting and matching. This article explains the free tier, the optional coin packs, what VIP adds, how billing works through Google Play, and how to cancel if you change your mind.
How OMNE works
OMNE (also known as omne5) is a dating app available in Greece. You create a profile, browse potential matches, and start conversations. The core experience — creating a profile, swiping or browsing, and sending initial messages — is available without paying. The app uses a coin system for certain premium actions and offers a VIP tier for users who want more visibility and convenience. All payments are processed through Google Play, so your purchase is tied to your Google account, not to a separate credit card entry inside the app.
In Greece, OMNE works like it does elsewhere: you download it from Google Play, sign up, and use the free features as much as you like. If you want to boost your profile or unlock extra interactions, you can buy coins or subscribe to VIP. There is no obligation to spend money, and you can keep using the free version indefinitely.
What is free on OMNE
The free tier is designed to let you try the app and meet people without paying. Here is what you can typically do for free:
- Create and edit your profile with photos and a bio.
- Browse profiles and see who is nearby in Greece.
- Like or pass on profiles (daily limits may apply).
- Send and receive messages with your matches.
- Receive notifications about new matches and messages.
Some actions may have daily limits on the free tier, such as the number of likes or the number of profiles you can view. These limits exist to keep the experience balanced for everyone. If you reach a limit, you can either wait for it to reset or use coins to continue.
Optional coin packs
OMNE uses coins as an in-app currency. You can buy coin packs with real money through Google Play. Coins let you unlock specific actions without committing to a subscription. For example, you might use coins to:
- Send a message to someone you have not matched with yet.
- Boost your profile for a set period to get more views.
- Unlock additional likes after you reach the daily free limit.
- Access certain premium filters or features.
The exact number of coins per pack and the cost in euros can vary over time and by region. OMNE does not publish fixed prices in this article because they may change. To see current prices, open the app, go to the coin store, and check the options available for your account in Greece. Google Play will show the price in euros before you confirm any purchase.
VIP benefits
VIP is an optional subscription that gives you more visibility and convenience compared to the free tier. While the exact benefits can be updated, VIP typically includes:
- Unlimited likes or a much higher daily limit.
- See who liked you before you decide.
- Boost your profile regularly for more visibility.
- Ad-free experience (if ads are present in the free version).
- Priority in some discovery features.
VIP is billed on a recurring basis (for example, weekly, monthly, or quarterly) through Google Play. The price is shown in the app before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time, and you will keep VIP benefits until the end of the current billing period.
In-app purchase handling on Google Play
All purchases in OMNE are handled by Google Play. This means:
- You pay using the payment method linked to your Google account.
- Google sends you a receipt by email after each purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
OMNE does not store your card details. If you have a problem with a charge, you can contact Google Play support or the OMNE support team from within the app.
How to cancel
If you want to cancel a VIP subscription or stop future coin purchases, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Find OMNE in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
After cancelling, you will not be charged again. You will still have access to VIP features until the end of the period you already paid for. Coin packs are one-time purchases and do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel for those.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults in Greece who want a straightforward dating app with a free starting point. It suits people who prefer to try before paying and who like the flexibility of buying coins only when they need a specific feature. It is not a app that promises instant matches or guaranteed dates. If you are looking for a place to meet new people, chat, and see where things go, OMNE can be a good option. If you prefer a fully free experience with no optional purchases at all, you can still use OMNE without spending money, though some limits will apply.
