How much does OMNE cost in Lithuania? Coins, VIP and what is free
If you are asking "how much does OMNE cost in Lithuania?", the short answer is that OMNE is free to download and free to use at a basic level, with optional paid extras. You can browse, match and chat without paying anything. Coins and VIP are add-ons for people who want more visibility or extra convenience. This article explains the structure of each option in plain language, without pretending there is a single price that fits everyone.
How OMNE works
OMNE (also written omne5) is a dating app available in Lithuania through Google Play. You create a profile, set your preferences, and the app suggests people nearby or in the cities you choose, such as Vilnius, Kaunas or Klaipeda. Messaging and matching are the core of the experience, and they work on the free tier.
Because OMNE is distributed through Google Play, any optional purchase inside the app is handled by Google Play Billing. That means the price you see is set for your Google account region, shown in euros for Lithuania, and charged to the payment method saved in your Google Play account. OMNE itself does not store your card details.
What is free on OMNE
The free tier is genuinely usable, not a demo. You do not need to pay to have a real conversation or to see who you matched with.
- Profile creation and editing at no cost.
- Browsing and discovery based on your filters and location.
- Matching with people who like you back.
- Messaging with your matches.
- Basic safety tools such as reporting and blocking.
In practice, many people in Lithuania use OMNE entirely for free and never open the shop section. Paid features exist to speed things up or to stand out, not to unlock the app itself.
Coins: how optional packs are structured
Coins are OMNE's in-app currency. You buy them in packs, and you spend them on individual actions or boosts rather than on a recurring subscription. The exact number of coins per pack, and the euro amount attached to each pack, can vary by region and over time, so the app always shows the current price before you confirm.
What coins are typically used for
- Boosting your profile so more people see it for a limited period.
- Extra visibility options during busy hours in your city.
- Small one-off actions that you choose yourself, one at a time.
The important structural point is that coins are consumable: they do not renew, and they do not create an ongoing charge. If you never buy a pack, you never pay for coins. Larger packs usually cost more in total but less per coin, which is a common pattern in app stores and worth knowing when you compare pack sizes.
VIP: what the subscription adds
VIP is OMNE's optional subscription. Unlike coins, VIP renews automatically until you cancel it. It is designed for people who want a smoother, more visible experience over a longer period.
Typical VIP benefits
- More visibility in discovery, so your profile appears more often.
- Additional convenience features that reduce repeated manual steps.
- Access to selected premium options while the subscription is active.
VIP is usually offered in more than one duration, for example a shorter plan and a longer plan. Longer plans normally have a lower cost per month, while shorter plans cost more per month but commit you for less time. OMNE shows the exact plan names, durations and euro amounts on the purchase screen in Lithuania before anything is charged.
Honest note: paid features can improve visibility and convenience, but they cannot guarantee matches, replies or a relationship. Nobody can promise that, and OMNE does not.
How in-app purchases work on Google Play
All OMNE purchases in Lithuania go through Google Play. The flow is consistent:
- You tap a coin pack or a VIP plan inside the app.
- Google Play shows a confirmation sheet with the price in euros.
- You confirm with your Google account payment method.
- Google sends a receipt by email, and the purchase appears in your Google Play purchase history.
Because Google handles the transaction, refund requests, payment method changes and billing questions are managed through Google Play support rather than through OMNE directly. If a charge looks unfamiliar, checking your Google Play subscription list is the fastest way to identify it.
How to cancel VIP
Cancelling is straightforward, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select OMNE and choose Cancel subscription.
- Follow the confirmation steps.
If you prefer, you can also reach the same subscription screen from the app's settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, so cancel first if you want the renewal to stop. Coins are not affected by cancelling VIP, since they are not a subscription.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE suits adults in Lithuania who want a straightforward dating app and are comfortable deciding for themselves whether extras are worth it. It works well for people who prefer to start free, chat, and only consider coins or VIP later if they feel the free experience is not quite enough. It is not a good fit for anyone expecting paid features to replace effort, honest photos or respectful conversation. If you dislike subscriptions on principle, you can simply stay on the free tier and ignore VIP entirely.
A simple way to think about the cost
Treat OMNE as three layers: free core features, one-off coin packs you control, and an optional VIP subscription you can cancel. Your monthly cost can therefore be zero, a small occasional amount, or a fixed subscription amount, depending on your choices. Check the current prices inside the app for Lithuania, since those are the only figures that apply to your account.
Download OMNE free on Google Play, explore the free tier first, and only add coins or VIP if you decide they are useful for you.
