Is OMNE free in Iraq? Coins, VIP and what you actually get
If you are in Iraq and wondering whether OMNE is free, the short answer is yes: you can download the app for free, create a profile, and send a limited number of messages every day without paying anything. This article explains exactly what you get for free, what coins and VIP add, and how to stay in control of your spending.
How OMNE works
OMNE (also known as omne5) is a dating and social discovery app available on Google Play. In Iraq, as in other countries, the core experience is free: you can browse profiles, see who is nearby, and start conversations using your daily free messages. The app uses your location to suggest people in your city or region, so you can meet Iraqis near you. If you want to send more messages or unlock premium features, you can buy coins or subscribe to VIP. Everything is optional, and you are never forced to pay to use the app.
What you get for free
When you download OMNE at no cost, you get:
- Free profile creation – add photos, a bio, and basic details.
- Daily free messages – a set number of messages you can send each day to new matches or existing conversations.
- Browsing and matching – see profiles, like or pass, and get matches based on mutual interest.
- Basic filters – search by age, distance, and gender.
The free daily messages reset every 24 hours. They are enough to start a few conversations and see if the app feels right for you. If you run out, you can wait for the next day or use coins to send more.
Coins: pay only when you want extra
Coins are OMNE's virtual currency. You can buy them in bundles through Google Play. Coins let you:
- Send additional messages beyond your daily free limit.
- Unlock certain profile boosts or see who liked you (availability may vary).
- Access some premium features without a full VIP subscription.
Coins are optional. You never have to buy them to keep using the free features. If you do buy coins, they are tied to your Google Play account, and you can manage your purchase history there.
VIP tiers: unlimited chat and better video calls
VIP is a subscription that unlocks a more complete experience. While exact tiers and prices can change, typical VIP benefits include:
- Unlimited chat – send as many messages as you want without waiting for daily resets.
- Higher-quality video calls – clearer video and audio for calls with your matches.
- See who liked you – view a list of people who have shown interest.
- Ad-free experience – browse without interruptions.
- Profile boost – appear more often in other people's suggestions.
VIP is billed through Google Play on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or as offered). You can cancel anytime from your Google Play subscriptions. After cancelling, you keep VIP until the end of the current billing period, and then you return to the free plan. No hidden fees.
How to cancel your VIP subscription
To cancel OMNE VIP on Android:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find OMNE (or omne5) and tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the on-screen steps to confirm.
If you used a different payment method, check that provider's cancellation process. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.
How to delete your OMNE account
If you decide to leave, you can delete your account directly in the app:
- Open OMNE and go to your profile.
- Tap Settings (or the gear icon).
- Select Account or Privacy.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Deleting your account removes your profile and matches permanently. If you only want a break, you can log out instead. For help, contact support through the app or the Google Play listing.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults in Iraq who want to meet new people, chat, and possibly build a relationship. It suits you if you prefer a simple, mobile-first experience and want the option to upgrade only when you need more messages or better call quality. It is not for people looking for a guaranteed match or a paid service that promises results. As with any dating app, success depends on your profile, your conversations, and mutual interest. Be honest, respectful, and patient.
Remember: OMNE is free to use. Coins and VIP are optional tools to enhance your experience, not requirements.
