Is OMNE Free in Thailand? Coins, VIP and What You Actually Get
If you are wondering is OMNE free in Thailand, the short answer is yes. You can download OMNE on Google Play at no cost, create a profile, and start connecting with people. The app uses a freemium model: the core experience is free, and optional coins or VIP tiers add extras like unlimited chat and higher-quality video calls. This article explains exactly what you get for free, what costs money, and how to stay in control of your spending.
How OMNE works
OMNE is a dating and social discovery app available in Thailand. You sign up with basic details, set your preferences, and browse profiles. The app is designed to work well on Thai mobile networks, and the interface supports Thai language. When you match with someone, you can start a conversation. Free users receive a daily allowance of messages, which resets every day. If you want to send more messages, make longer video calls, or see who liked you, you can use coins or upgrade to a VIP tier. Nothing is hidden: the app shows you clearly when a feature requires coins or a subscription.
What you get for free
Downloading OMNE is free. You can create a profile, upload photos, set your age and location, and browse potential matches. Every day, you get a set number of free messages. This is enough to have a few conversations and decide if the app feels right for you. You can also receive messages from others, even if you have used your daily free messages. Free users can send and receive likes, and see mutual matches. Basic video calls are available, though the video quality may be standard definition. You can use OMNE without spending any money, as long as you are comfortable with the daily message limit.
Coins: pay only when you want extra
Coins are OMNE's virtual currency. You buy them in packs, and they never expire. You can use coins for things like sending a Super Like to stand out, boosting your profile for more visibility, or sending a gift to a match. Coins are completely optional. If you never buy coins, you can still use the free features. The app will never charge you automatically for coins; you have to confirm each purchase. Prices for coin packs vary by region and are shown in Thai baht before you pay.
VIP tiers: unlimited chat and better video calls
VIP is a subscription that unlocks premium features. There are typically two or three tiers, such as VIP and VIP Plus. The main benefits are unlimited chat (no daily message limit), higher-quality video calls (often HD), the ability to see who liked you, and an ad-free experience. Some tiers also include a monthly coin bonus or a profile boost. VIP is billed on a recurring basis: weekly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on the plan you choose. The exact price is displayed in the app before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time, and you will keep VIP benefits until the end of your current billing period.
How to cancel your VIP subscription
Cancelling is straightforward. If you subscribed through Google Play, open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find OMNE or omne5 and tap Cancel. If you subscribed through another payment method, check your confirmation email for cancellation instructions. After cancelling, you will not be charged again, but you will still have VIP access until the period you already paid for ends. You can resubscribe later if you change your mind.
How to delete your OMNE account
You can delete your account directly in the app. Go to Settings, then Account, and look for Delete Account. Follow the prompts to confirm. If you cannot find the option, you can request deletion by contacting support through the app's help section. When you delete your account, your profile and matches are removed, and you will not be able to recover them. Any unused coins or remaining VIP time are forfeited, so it is best to use them before deleting. Deletion is permanent, so make sure you really want to leave.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults in Thailand who want to meet new people, whether for dating, friendship, or casual conversation. It suits people who prefer a mix of text and video calls and who like the flexibility of a free tier with optional upgrades. It is not for anyone under 18. It is also not for people who expect a completely free app with no limits; the daily message cap means you may eventually want to buy coins or VIP if you chat a lot. If you are looking for a straightforward app with clear pricing and no hidden charges, OMNE is a reasonable choice.
Staying in control of your spending
To avoid unexpected charges, set a budget for coins and VIP. You can turn off auto-renewal for VIP in your Google Play settings at any time. Remember that coins are optional and you can always use the free daily messages. If you are unsure, start with the free version, see how many conversations you have, and then decide if VIP is worth it for you. OMNE does not force you to pay to use the app.
