Is OMNE Free in China? Coins, VIP and What You Actually Get
If you are searching for is OMNE free in China, the short answer is yes: you can download OMNE for free, and you can send a set of messages every day without paying. OMNE also offers optional coins and VIP tiers for people who want unlimited chatting and higher-quality video calls. This guide explains exactly what is free, what is optional, and how to manage your account. No hidden surprises, just clear facts.
How OMNE works
OMNE (also written as omne5) is a dating and social discovery app available on Google Play. In China, the app works the same way it does elsewhere: you create a profile, browse people nearby or by shared interests, and start conversations. The core experience is free. You do not need to pay to register, set up your profile, or receive messages. If you want to send more messages than the daily free limit, or if you want video calls with better clarity, you can choose to buy coins or subscribe to a VIP tier. Everything beyond the free layer is optional and clearly marked inside the app.
What you get for free
Many people assume dating apps hide everything behind a paywall. On OMNE, the free layer is genuinely useful. Here is what you can do without spending anything:
- Free download and registration. OMNE is free to install from Google Play. Creating a profile, adding photos, and writing a bio cost nothing.
- Free daily messages. You receive a daily allowance of messages. You can use them to start conversations or reply to people who contacted you.
- Browsing and matching. You can view profiles, see who liked you (within the free view), and match with people who share your interests.
- Basic video calls. Free users can make video calls, though the resolution and stability may be lower than VIP calls, especially on slower connections.
- Safety tools. Reporting, blocking, and privacy settings are available to everyone at no cost.
So if your goal is to meet a few people and chat casually, the free version of OMNE is enough. You are not forced to pay to have a real conversation.
Coins: what they are and when you need them
Coins are OMNE's virtual currency. They are optional. You buy coins only if you want to send extra messages after your daily free messages run out, or if you want to use certain premium features like boosting your profile or sending a special gift. Coins are not a subscription. They do not renew automatically, and they do not expire as long as your account is active. The exact coin packages and prices are shown inside the app in your local currency, so you always see the real cost before you confirm a purchase. If you never buy coins, you can still use OMNE every day with your free messages.
VIP tiers: unlimited chat and better video calls
VIP is a subscription for people who want more freedom and better call quality. OMNE offers more than one VIP tier, and each tier adds features on top of the free experience. The most common reasons people choose VIP are:
- Unlimited chat. No daily message limit. You can write to as many matches as you like, whenever you like.
- Higher-quality video calls. VIP calls use a higher resolution and are optimized for smoother connections, which makes a real difference on mobile data.
- See who liked you. VIP members can view the full list of people who liked their profile, instead of a limited preview.
- Priority visibility. Your profile may be shown more often to people who match your preferences.
- Ad-free experience. VIP removes most or all ads, depending on the tier.
The exact features, duration, and price of each VIP tier are listed in the OMNE app before you subscribe. Prices can vary by region and by the payment method you use, so check the app for the current offer. You can subscribe for a short period first, see how it feels, and decide later whether to continue.
Honest note: VIP does not guarantee matches or replies. It removes limits and improves call quality. The conversation itself still depends on you and the other person.
How to cancel your VIP subscription
Cancelling is straightforward, and you keep VIP access until the end of the period you already paid for. The steps depend on where you subscribed:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your phone.
- Tap your profile icon, then go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Find OMNE in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the confirmation steps.
If you subscribed through another payment channel, open the OMNE app, go to Settings, then Subscription or Billing, and follow the cancellation instructions shown there. After cancelling, you will not be charged again. If you cancel during a free trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.
How to delete your OMNE account
If you decide OMNE is not for you, you can delete your account. This is permanent, so make sure you want to remove your profile and chat history.
- Open OMNE and go to your profile or Settings.
- Find Account, then Delete account.
- Read the confirmation message and confirm your choice.
If you cannot find the option, use the support or help section inside the app to request deletion. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a VIP subscription. Cancel the subscription first through Google Play or your payment provider, then delete the account.
Who OMNE is for
OMNE is for adults who want to meet new people, chat, and possibly move to a video call. It suits people who value a simple, low-pressure way to start conversations. It is not for anyone looking for guaranteed dates or instant results. It is also not for people under 18. If you are in China and you want a free app to try, OMNE gives you a fair free layer, and paid options only if you choose them. If you prefer not to pay anything, you can stay on the free plan indefinitely.
Common questions about paying in China
Payment methods inside apps can vary by region and by the app store you use. OMNE shows the available payment options at checkout, and you should only pay through official channels shown in the app or Google Play. Never send money to another user, and never share your payment details in a chat. If a payment fails, check your store account settings or try again later. For billing questions, contact support through the app.
